Khost, Afghanistan -- A U.S. Solider, an American civilian contractor and three Afghan soldiers were killed in an attack in Afghanistan on Sunday.
The U.S. Solider was the 2,000 member of the American military to die in Afghanistan.
NATO says it suspects an “insider” attack of Afghan police officers shooting military personnel to be the cause of the incident.
