Greece/Webster N.Y. - Debra Forester bought Halloween candy but doesn't know if any kids will show up at her door on True Hickory Drive in Greece.
The street has been without power since Monday night. There are also dangling power lines and trees that are down.
She wonders if it's safe to take her grandchildren out trick or treating.
Debra took them to school today for a Halloween party and treats, so they would have something in case they cannot go door to door.
Kaiden Forester had on his Spiderman Costume. His sister will be Cinderella.
Debra is disappointed but says she will stand at the corner of her street if she has to, to give kids in the neighborhood candy.
Neighbors off Holt Road in Webster don't know what to expect Halloween night.
They could be without power until Friday and part of the road is closed because of trees and power lines brought down by the high winds during the storm.
Amanda Dunn doesn't expect to see any trick or treaters. She says it just isn't safe.
Janet Chipperl lives on Everwild, which is also in the dark. She is encouraging kids to go to other neighborhoods that have power.
The pumpkins are carved and on the front steps at many homes in the area, but this just won't be like any other Halloween night.
Carol Irvine is more concerned about staying warm in her home without electricity. She said she may go stay with a friend, because she has had enough.
Janet Chipperl says she's okay for now, but after tomorrow, will be ready to find shelter somewhere else.
