Rochester, N.Y. – After Tuesday’s “National Night Out,” neighbors in some Rochester communities are feeling more connected today.
The friends and neighbors who gathered at Elwanger Barry Park reflected activities all over the area—and the nation.
The annual event enriches relationships within neighborhoods, and strengthens communications between residents and police. Police took part hoping to raise awareness about crime prevention.
The idea is that strong, connected neighbors make strong, safe neighborhoods.
Another “Night Out” gathering will take place in Irondequoit Wednesday evening.
