There's been a jump in the number of cases of ADHD over the last 10 years.

California researchers say rates of new cases of the attention disorder went up 24 percent from 2002 until June of last year.

While rates are still highest among white children, increases were also reported for Hispanics and African-Americans.

Doctors say the jump could be linked to increased awareness.
