ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Just in time for Halloween, guides telling ghost stories, legends and folklore will be leading tours at the Capitol in Albany.

The state Office of General Services says the "Capitol Hauntings" tours start Tuesday and run through Friday, then pick up again from Oct. 15 through Nov. 2. The free, hour-long tours during the first week will start at noon, with sessions at noon and 5:30 p.m. during the other weeks.

The Capitol is closed on the weekend.

Participants must register ahead of time, which individuals and groups under 10 can do online. Larger groups have to call the agency to register. Information is available on its website.
