Albion Woman Killed In Crash

Barre, Orleans County - An Albion woman is dead after crashing her car Tuesday night.

Police say 60-year-old Jacqueline Dingle veered off Maple St. in the town of Barre and into a fire hydrant around 5:30 p.m.

Dingle was rushed to the hospital where she died.

Police believe she may have had a medical issue which caused the crash.

The Monroe County Medical Examiner is handling the ongoing investigation.
