Rochester, N.Y. -- The Rochester Americans have tied a record.

On Tuesday night they beat the Hamilton Bulldogs, 4-1, to equal the franchise record of 11 straight victories. The Amerks also have the best record in the American Hockey League.

The Ameks got on the board when Jordan Henry got his first of the year. On the power play, Jamie Johnson made it 2-0 Rochester. Goal number three came off the stick of Graham Mink. Veteran center Chris Taylor closed the Amerks scoring with his fourth goal of the year at the 8:40 mark of the 3rd period.

Goalie Alexander Salak stopped 38 of 39 shots to get the win.

The Amerks can break the franchise win streak record on Thursday night when they go to Buffalo to play the Sabres minor league affiliate, the Portland Pirates.
