Innocent until proven guilty..Hang'em after the gavel sounds. At 15, he knew exactly what he was doing. Ghetto lifestyle and Ghetto mentality. You're right U21, he will get a better education in prison, there's No way for him to be 'absent' from class!

I'm sure he was turning his life around. I have spent years trying to turn my life around. Has not worked yet. But I must say, I have never thought of shooting someone, well maybe. Shoot someone as they are walking away ? thats a coward. What was this kid thinking ? Maybe jail will be a better life for him. Three meals a day and a place to sleep. It's all about reform. He will probably get a better education in jail, free medical and dental care, church on Sundays, when the weather is bad he'll have an indoor gym. Blame it on the Ritolin or the lack there of. Yet another nightmare for all involved.

I agree with everyone below. There is NO need for a trial. He is guilty and should be sent to jail. He will only grow older with the intent to kill others. His moto, " I got away with it once, lets try again." He shouldnt even be able to even have the chance to hurt anyone else.

To fire a weapon on someone (the officer) walking away has INTENT written all over it. This kid regardless of his age should be locked up for life and the key thrown away. He is only 15, what will he be like at 25? Attempted murder = Life without parole. End of story.

I’m sure he could have worked out a deal had officer Pignato been on the scene.
