Rochester, N.Y. – Families in a building with six apartments woke up to the sounds of fire alarms just before 3 a.m. Thursday, at 13 Lafayette Park.
People on the third floor saw flames on their outside front wall.
Everybody escaped safely, and firefighters brought the fire under control in approximately 13 minutes.
All the residents were let back into their apartments.
The fire is still under investigation.
