Rochester, N.Y. – Rochesterians paid homage to the Genesee River’s history Sunday with Autumn at the Lake, part of the River Romance series of events.
Sunday’s free event at Ontario Beach Park in Charlotte featured family-fun activities, including face painting, hayrides, clowns and balloon animals.
“It’s a really nice afternoon,” said Jim Farr, the city’s assistant recreation director. “It gets kids out and active and not sitting in front of the TV screen. It’s a good, healthy, active way to get out on a nice, cool fall day.”
River Romance is in it's third decade in Rochester.
