Lockport, NY—A barn in Lockport caught fire around 2:30 Monday morning according to Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
The barn was located at SMC Equestrian Center.
The owner told police no animals were in the barn; it was used as a training and riding center.
The fire was first reported by a passerby. Soon after, the owner Chris White reported it.
Officials arrived to find the barn completely engulfed in flames.
It is a total loss--damages estimated at $50,000.
Investigators are determining the origin and cause of the blaze.
