Batavia, Genesee County - Three men from Batavia, including two firefighters, arrested for running an illegal gambling ring have agreed to a plea deal.
Veteran firefighters Gregory Phillips and Brian Bordonaro, and Lance Engel pleaded guilty to misdemeanor gambling promotion charges.
They were originally charged with felony enterprise corruption.
As part of the plea deal, all three men have agreed to resign from their jobs.
They will be sentenced in March.
