Batavia, N.Y. – One person has been charged with D.W.I. after police in Batavia say his car crashed into a house early Saturday.
Batavia Police say 22-year-old Corey D. Goff of Rochester was traveling at a high rate of speed on Pearl Street in the Village of Batavia around 5:20 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle.
Goff allegedly struck a lamppost and several street signs. Police also say his vehicle went airborne twice before crashing into a house on Main Street. No one was home at the time of the incident.
Police say Goff was not injured in the crash. He has been charged with D.W.I. and reckless driving.
