Buffalo/Rochester, N.Y. - “I wasn’t nervous at all because I already sang here. I felt great.” said eight-year-old Baylee Morrison of Macedon.

Morrison was referring to singing the National Anthem at the Rochester Amerks game Sunday afternoon at Blue Cross Arena.

Just three hours before, she sang the National Anthem, and the Canadian Anthem, at a sold-out First Niagara Centrer in Buffalo, where the Buffalo Sabres were taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins on national television.

“When I was five, my dad said I sang really good. It kept going from there!” Morrison told 13WHAM News.

When asked where the biggest place she has sang was, Morrison had to think for a second.

“NASCAR or an airshow in Ocean City.”

Morrison’s dad taught her the National Anthem. She’s been singing for three years, and wowing crowds at hockey games this season.

Her idols are Etta James, Taylor Swift, and Alicia Keys.

Does becoming a local sensation get to her head? Not for this eight-year-old.

“I like when they applaud after because I feel like they really liked me,” Morrison said Sunday.
