Buffalo/Rochester, N.Y. - Defensive tackle Marcel Dareus will not be at practice today.
He has left the team to be with his family in Alabama after the shooting death of his 19-year-old younger brother Simeon Gilmore
The shooting happened late on Sunday.
There is no word yet on how long Dareus will be away from the team, or if he will play in Sunday's game with the Chiefs.
