Henrietta, N.Y. --- The news on Monday morning out of Orchard Park was not a surprise to most Buffalo Bills fan. Most also felt it was time for Head Coach Chan Gailey to move on.
"I'm not surprised, I'm hoping it's a good move I'm hoping that it's a move in the right direction," Ellen Kocian of Pittsford said.
"My own problem is we keep doing the three-year rotation," said Jan Layman of Warsaw. "Every three years we dump the coach, we dump the GM and we start over again. How many times are we going to do that? The winning teams aren't doing that."
"I felt pretty good about it I don't like the way Gailey runs the offense," Adam Salyer of Angelica said. "I always listen to him in the postgame (press) conferences and he says let's get (Running back C.J.) Spiller the ball more and then you look at the postgame stats and he's got 15 carries and you wonder well if you want to get him the ball more why don't you?"
Most fans also placed blame on the Bills defense and quarterback situation.
"I would fire the coordinator, the defensive coordinator," Jake Hamilton of Henrietta said.
Most fans agree they just don't want a repeat performance of this year, or any of the previous years for that matter.
"I keep thinking this year will be different but it starts out and you're all excited and then what happens?" said Barbara Harrigan of Gates. "They just fall apart, what are they doing?"
