(13WHAM-TV) - Bipartisan support is starting to grow in the U.S. House of Representatives for a budget deal.

Eleven Republicans and eleven Democrats sent a letter to the president and congressional leaders endorsing strategic reductions in the Pentagon budget--over the long term.

The lawmakers say it's a step forward to avoid automatic tax hikes and spending cuts—together known as the "Fiscal Cliff."
