Bishop Clark Begins Retirement

Rochester, N.Y. - Bishop Matthew Clark announced Friday morning he is retiring from the Diocese of Rochester - effective immediately. 

Bishop Clark made the announcement at a press conference with reporters.

Bishop Robert J. Cunningham of the Syracuse Diocese will serve as Apostolic administrator of the Rochester Diocese until a permanent Bishop is named.
