Farmington, N.Y. - Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies say a Farmington woman called 911 to report an incident, but when they arrived at her house on Fraser Way, they say Theresa E. Raia, 39, was waving a large kitchen knife at a victim. Then they say she ran.

This happened Monday shortly after 10 p.m. When the deputies tried to arrest her , she bit, spat, kicked the police car, and screamed obscenities. And she continued to fight while in view of the public.

She was transported to Ontario County Jail where she awaits arraignment.

She was charged with menacing, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
