New York, N.Y. - First it was soda, now New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is targeting tobacco users.

Under a new proposal, stores would be required to keep tobacco products in cabinets, under counters, or behind curtains.

Bloomberg says the goal is to reduce the youth smoking rate.

Tobacco companies and smokers call the proposal "overreach."
