Lockport, N.Y. (AP) - A man's body has been pulled from the Erie Canal in upstate New York.
Police in Lockport in Niagara County say the body was spotted floating in the canal at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say the body is that of a white man around 40 to 50 years old, but they haven't yet determined his identity.
Police say an autopsy is planned at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.
