So as I said I dont agree with Tyquan's behavior but I guess my question is this what if the officers did push him down the stairs and kick him. What will the public have to say about that. There is no reason that an adulty let alone a police officer should beat anyone more less a child. I mean come on. You know the way this child attacked is horrible and I prey the best for this officer and his family. However I also hope this boy can become atleast a productive member of our society some day. This may be streching he may be to far gone. But when will this madness stop.

While I disagree with Tyquan's behaviors, to blatantly attack him as scum and wish horrible things upon him makes you no better than him. Let's say an officer threw him down the stairs and began to kick him. Let's say that enraged him and he shot the officer. Now, let's say his shooting the officer enraged you (whoever you may be) and you hope that death and/or suffering befalls him. What, exactly, makes you any different than him? It's amazing how many people have thrown stones at this boy (especially amoung these boards) and when broken down, are no different. You, basically, have justified what he did. I think he should be punished, but I'm not going to make any judgements on him or his situation based on one incident. I would suggest that, with your ill-feelings, be careful what you say. A quick pyschoanalysis would lump you into a similar category as the same person you've condemmed.

Sadly, whatever the reason this CHILD did what he did. He made an ADULT decision to violently attack a defenseless police officer. Now SEVERAL lives are forever changed. There should be a seperate set of laws concerning crimes against police. This kid is going to go to jail (er..juvvy country club) will be treated like a god because he smoked a cop, and will be back on our street before his 25th birthday. Who thinks that is justice?

It's Ironic what a small town Rochester is, I knew this kid looked familiar, he and his family used to live on Weld st almost on the corner on Union and Weld. I was working over there and saw him selling bags of dope to a guy in a light blue Jeep wrangler, When the kid saw that I saw him he starts yelling "What the F you looking at, all up in my grill like Toof paste" I work in the city and see 5 or 6 drug deals a day. Loud mouth Tyquan is the only one I've everdialed 911 on. By the way his entire family was sitting on the front porch watching him sell his drugs. He used to have a big afro , not like oj in the 70s but a crazy thing he pulled back in a pony tail . Anyway My point being kids are meal tickets for these low life welfare scum parents and if our tax dollars don't pay enough they just have them deal drugs. They should all be put to sleep you know like a damaged dog.

R news has a photo of this hood smiling while being escorted to a police vehicle. I hope he gets something big shoved in his mouth while in jail that will wipe that snide disrespectful grin off. Low life.

I have been a witness to some of these kids in the city, they show no respect, they have filthy mouths and blatant disrespect for ANY authority not saying all but the ones I've seen. So my guess is it wasn't just a little mouthing off.

I'm not saying that cityguy and NO I don't even hit my own children IF you read my other post. We don't know if this is true but it still certainly does not justify shooting a cop.

Sarah68 - So let me get this right a group of kids who got a little mouthy or macho whatever you want to call it deserve to beat like animals. So if you do have which I dont know if you do. Do you beat them when they get a little mouthy. Again I know that these are all alegation and may just be a defendant tring to make a defense for his stupidity. If it is true man I guess that would be a problem.
