Chili, N.Y. - A 4-year-old boy and his grandmother, part of a family hospitalized after a house fire in Chili last month, have been released from the hospital.
Several firefighters and a post office worker helped rescue them.
67-year-old Judith Ogg was released from the hospital Friday, her grandson, R.J. Lockwood was released Thursday.
The boy's younger sister and his mother, 24-year-old Kaitlyn Ogg, are still in guarded condition.
While the two are doing better, they'll stay in the hospital a little while longer.
Joe Ogg told 13WHAM News that his wife has burns mostly on her arms; his daughter has burns on her legs.
Because Kaitlyn is still intubated, Joe Ogg said he has only been able to talk to his wife through sign language or with yes and no responses.
Close family friends said they are happy things seem to be getting better.
"It sounds like everyone is coming around, all the prayers and support from the community, real strong family has helped things turn around," Joe Ogg's co-worker Chris Tobin said.
The family has moved into an apartment in Chili.
