Brighton, N.Y. - Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday morning for a Brighton man charged in the murder of his former roommate.

Max Wyant, 24, is charged in the February murder of 21-year-old C.J. Schoen in February-- in a fight over property.

Police say Schoen was inside the home on Hartfeld Drive when he was shot with a shotgun.

It's the first homicide case in Brighton in more than a decade.
