Buffalo, N.Y. - New details have emerged in the deadly shooting at the Erie County Medical Center Wednesday.
Neighbors of Dr. Timothy Jorden, the man police say is connected to the shooting, say Jorden had lost weight and was behaving in a less friendly manner in the weeks leading up to the shooting.
Police also say an off-duty Buffalo police officer was spotted at Jorden's home Wednesday, leaving with multiple items, including a $5,000 Rolex watch and a gun.
Police say a regional manhunt is underway for Jorden.
"I don't think the general public is in danger,” said Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda. “An officer coming across this individual…he has to be considered armed and dangerous...we want to talk to him about yesterday's incident...I don't think he's a danger to the public at large."
Police say the victim, Jacqueline Wisniewski, was a receptionist at the hospital and had dated Jorden.
