Albany, NY/Washington, D.C. - A bill to mandate safety grades for bus companies is now on its way to President Obama's desk.
The bill was spearheaded by New York Senator Charles Schumer (D) after several deadly bus crashes in the last year.
The measure will create safety letter grades for bus companies that are similar to New York City's restaurant safety ratings.
