Albion, N.Y. - An Orleans County man pled guilty to second degree murder for killing his teenage sister-in-law last year.
Carlos Cardenas' trial was set to begin Wednesday for strangling his wife's 15-year-old sister Katherine Sanchez.
Authorities said the Albion man sexually assaulted the girl and then killed her after she threatened to tell her sister.
Cardenas faces 25 years to life in prison.
