06/13/03 - ConAgra poultry is recalling 129,000 of chicken because it may contain glass.
The company is asking distributors to return 3 1/2 to 4-pound bags of Country Pride fresh chicken which have a sell-by date of 06/20/03, 06/21/03, or 06/22/03.
Also recalled were 40-pound cases of eight-piece fresh young chicken, with the code 019434 processed on June 10 and 400-pound cases of Country Pride fresh young chicken whole wings and livers marked with a product code of 019553 and processed on June 9 and 10.
