Rochester, N.Y. - The Monroe County Industrial Development Agency COMIDA is looking for your input about establishing a call center in Webster that could create hundreds of jobs.
In a letter to COMIDA, Senator Chuck Schumer says if the call center is not in Webster, those jobs would spring up elsewhere.
The $4.3 million call center could create up to 400 new jobs.
Xerox officials are considering renovating an existing building for the operation. The company is asking for financing and tax abatement help.
A public hearing on the project is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. at Webster's Town Hall.
