Albany, N.Y. (AP) - A closed door meeting comes today between Governor Andrew Cuomo and legislative leaders.
The reason they’re meeting behind closed doors is to move ahead as they try to work out details of a proposed $143 billion state budget.
The budget is due by the start of the fiscal year on April first, but budget watchers say to do that a deal on the plan must be sealed by the weekend.
