Pittsford, N.Y.- A 49-year-old man from Pittsford was transported to the hospital with broken bones Tuesday morning after crashing his car into a tree and fence at a local cemetery.
The accident happened around 2:50 a.m. on Mendon Center Road in Pittsford.
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies say the driver, Norman Evans, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for a broken leg, broken hip and head injuries.
Police say he will be arraigned for Driving While Intoxicated at a later time.
Authorities say he was spotted driving at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
