Greece, N.Y. – A 71 year old Greece woman was trapped in her car for five hours after it crashed through a fence and fell down a 30 foot embankment.

71-year-old Dolores Kohler of Greece was traveling west on Ridgeway Avenue when she lost control of her car, crossing into the southbound lane and then crashing through a chain link fence, before tumbling over the embankment to the pavement below.

She was conscious but trapped in her car with no way to call for help.

The car was on Eastman Business Park property, which cannot be seen from the road.

It wasn't until contractors arrived five hours later that Kohler was found.

She was taken to Strong Hospital with a broken arm and fractured skull.

Police said even though her injuries were serious, Kohler was fortunate to have survived this accident.

They believe she may have suffered a medical condition before the crash.

Kohler told police she had just gotten out of work at midnight and was driving home.
