Rushville, N.Y. - A Stanley woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child following a drinking party attended by students at Marcus Whitman High School.

Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies report Jessica Ruppert Evans, 39, hosted a party on October 13, following the school's homecoming dance.

Investigators said students knew alcohol was going to be present at the party.

Deputies said many of the students between ages 14 and 18 drank alcohol at the party, and a 15-year-old student passed out after drinking too much.

Evans is charged for violating the Ontario County Social Host Law.
