Perry, N.Y. - A Churchville man has been arrested for stealing a police car.
22-year-old Jordan Herthum was arrested in Perry after police say he stole a marked Wyoming County sheriff's patrol vehicle.
The deputy was parked at the Arrow Mart when he got out of the car to talk with some village officers when Herthum got into the car and took off.
Officers were able to locate the car through the car's GPS signal and stopped the vehicle a short distance later.
Herthum was charged with several violations including DWI.
