Rochester, N.Y. - The next year is going to be a busy one along Jefferson Avenue.
City crews broke ground Saturday on a new $3.4 million revitalization project to beautify the area.
The project includes a new neighborhood gateway, sidewalk benches and new bus shelters.
"It's a growing process for the City of Rochester, with the addition to Brooks Landing, the new development from the University of Rochester, it's just a wonderful thing." says one resident.
$1.5 million of the money came from the City, with another $1 million in federal funding.
