Rochester, N.Y. - The City of Rochester is awarding grants to help encourage students to walk and bicycle safely on their way to school.

Mayor Richards announced Monday that up to $2,500 is available for groups helping students travel safely to school.

That includes student safety patrols and bike rack installations.

The deadline to apply is January 18.
