Holley, N.Y. - The Environmental Protection Agency unveiled a $14.5 million plan to cleanup the 2002 Diaz Chemical Company spill on Wednesday night.
The cleanup plan will focus on soil and groundwater which was contaminated at the site.
The spill forced some nearby homeowners to abandon their homes.
A spokesperson for the EPA said the cleanup is moving faster than normal. The cleanup project is set to be complete in 2014.
