Greece, N.Y. - Two local soccer teams are facing fines and sanctions after a fight broke out after a game.

Cell phone video captured the aftermath of a fight between parents following a July 15 game between the Attica and Greece under 17 girls' soccer teams.

The Rochester District Youth Soccer League (RDYSL) says "trash talk" among players led to the shoving match between parents in the parking lot.

A Greece Eclipse player will not be allowed to play next season and was fined $400 for her involvement in the fight. The Greece Eclipse coach is also facing a $400 fine for not controlling their players and spectators.

The Central Western United-Attica The Central coach faces a $300 fine for not controlling spectators. Western United Soccer club was also fined $500.

The league was one of the first in the state to implement a zero-tolerance policy on fighting and violence.

“I hope this incident and the reaction to it prompts people to make sure their own behavior at youth athletic events is appropriate,” said Mary Arter, president of RDYSL.
