(WHAM-TV) - Coats are being collected in lots of places for kids who will need them this winter.
Collection goes on through November 25.
Friday and Saturday, November 30 and December 1, the free coats will be distributed at the Brockport Firemen’s Exempt Club’s back building at 248 West Avenue in Brockport.
Friday distribution hours are 2 to 7 p.m. and Saturday distribution hours will be noon to 4 p.m.
Drop off sites include Rochester, Webster, Kendall, Brockport, Hamlin, Clarkson, Brighton and others. The list is below.
The program, in place since 2004, is called” Matt’s Coats For Kids.” It is run by the mom of Matthew J. Fitton, who passed away at the age of 20 in 2003.
