Rochester, N.Y. - Construction starts today on five schools in the Rochester City School District.
The upgrades that begin to take shape June 28 are part of a $325 million project at Schools #50, #17, #58, Charlotte High School and Benjamin Franklin High School.
Seven other schools will have work started later this year.
Work on all 12 schools is scheduled to be done by 2015.
