Fatal Crash in Hamlin - Names Released

Hamlin, N.Y. - A man was killed and pregnant woman was injured in a crash Monday afternoon on Brick Schoolhouse Road.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say a truck pulled out in front of a car at about 4:00 pm.

The car's passenger, Luis A. Alyon, 25, of Hamlin was ejected, and then was hit by the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver, Amber Reeves, 23, of Hamlin was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.

The truck driver, Robert J. Mastowski, 50, was taken to Strong by Mercy Flight.

No tickets were issued.

The case remains under investigation.
