Greece, N.Y. - The Greece Police Department released its crime statistics for 2012.

The stats show crime is down six-percent from 2011 while calls for service rose 6.3-percent. Arrests for DWI are up 35% from 2011 and 47% from 2010.

Police Chief Todd Baxter said, “These numbers are simply the result of hard work and professionalism bolstered by cooperation from the community. Our officers handled over 92,000 calls for service and made nearly 3,000 arrests in 2012."
