Rochester, N.Y. - The ninth annual CrimeStoppers Phone-A-Thon raised more than $15,000 for the non-profit organization.
Leaders expect that total to reach the $20,000 mark by the time the fundraiser is officially complete. Online donations are being accepted through Feb. 22.
13WHAM News proudly teamed up with CrimeStoppers for a day-long phone-a-thon on February 7, 2013.
The money will go toward rewards for tipsters and help fund local K9 initiatives.
CrimeStoppers has been helping police track down leads and solve cases in the Rochester community for more than 30 years.
