Rochester, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo and Lt. Governor Duffy will visit Rochester today.

They're in town to review regional economic development plans. Their visit is part of a competition for state aid.

There are ten regional economic councils in New York State -- each competing for state funding of their projects.

The Finger Lakes Region did receive nearly $70 million last year, but was not one of the regions awarded additional monies. This year, the five winning regions will each get an additional $25 million.

One of the places the governor will visit is the Eastman Business Park which stands to gain in this year’s competition for state money.

Over the weekend, tenants of the park got a letter pledging state help if Eastman Kodak goes into Chapter 7 and stops paying its bills.
