Albany, N.Y. - New rules will make it easier for beer, wine and liquor makers in New York state to sell their products.
After two hours of talks Wednesday between Governor Andrew Cuomo and representatives of the beer, wine and alcohol industry, Cuomo agreed to ease some sales restrictions.
The governor also pledged up to $3 million to help New York's alcohol makers with advertising.
Despite the aid, Cuomo said he still opposes wine sales in grocery stores.
