Nunda Woman Faces Felony DWI, Marijuana Charges

Wethersfield, Wyoming County - A Nunda woman is accused of driving drunk with two children in the car.

Police say they also found an open container of alcohol and marijuana in Laurie Bownds' car when they pulled her over.

There were three people in the car with her at the time, including a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old.

Bownds faces felony DWI charges under Leandra's Law, as well as marijuana possession and traffic charges.

She's being held in the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 bail or $25,000 bond.
