Lima, N.Y. - Emergency crews are on the scene of a deadly crash in Lima.
Shortly before 2 p.m. Monday, sheriff's deputies report a car was stopped to make a turn. Deputies said a vehicle behind that car didn't see it stop, and rear-ended the vehicle. The impact sent the lead car into oncoming traffic, where the vehicle crashed head-on into a tractor trailer.
The driver hit by the tractor trailer, Michael Cole, 43, of Lima, died. The driver of the other vehicle and the tractor trailer were taken to Strong Hospital with injuries, but are expected to survive.
