Rochester, N.Y. - The U.S. Attorneys Office said 45 illegal guns found in Rochester are tied to a man from Atlanta, Georgia.

Liddon Young, 32, faces several charges including:

  • Criminal complaint with conspiracy to deal in firearms without a license;
  • Dealing in firearms without a license;
  • Transporting a firearm in interstate commerce with the intent to commit a felony;
  • Traveling from one state to another to acquire a firearm in furtherance of dealing in firearms without a license.

Federal prosecutors allege Young sold the guns to an associate in Rochester, who then sold them to people in the Rochester area.

If convicted, Young faces up to 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, or both.
