Driver Airlifted To Strong Hospital After Crash In Seneca County

Varick, N.Y.- Seneca County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a serious crash that happened in the Town of Varick Wednesday morning.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Route 414.

Deputies say Ashley Harrell, 23, was driving northbound on Route 414 when she fell asleep behind the wheel and went off of the road. The car flipped several times.

Harrell was ejected from the vehicle.

She was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital with lower body injuries.
