Riga, N.Y. - A woman is being charged with DWI after flipping her car in the front yard of a home in Riga Thursday night.
According to Monroe County Sheriff's deputies, a car was driving south on Atridge Road and approaching Chili-Riga Road around 10:40 p.m.
For reasons still under investigation, the driver went through the stop sign at the intersection of Atridge and Chili-Riga Roads.
Sheriff's deputies say she then drove into the front yard of 421 Palmer Road and hit a parked truck in the driveway.
The car then rolled down into an embankment and flipped over, ejecting the driver into the yard.
Emergency crews took the driver to Strong to be evaluated.
